A mental photograph

I was just standing there, and I felt it

They freeze framed me using their built in flash

Please God it was my best shot Did they get my good side? 
Did they capture my superstar profile? Most people invariably don't

But it's there you know I see it everyday When I wish my reflection of good day

Will they be in awe of me? Will they want to meet me like I was a celebrity That they'll never meet

SO NEAR The first two weeks without Lucy was so fucking annoying The man lost his composure and was forced to let the boy in and the boy turned every moment into a potential collision because all he saw was Lucy through his new affliction Tunnel Vision and he spat the flipping dummy distinguishing boy from man He didn't have a clue since he never had a plan The fire that he held in his heart for her got hotter and brighter and he exemplified the transition from the lover to the fighter   I suppose peace is for someone else It doesn't seem to occur and neither does back to life as I knew it without her her You see all was well for a fella who fell no further than small walls with clear peripherals but the area of obsession is so thick that you couldn't tap your way through the haze with the blind stick, a sat nav or all the wit I think I have I've tripped into the petrol unpredictability Kicking off at the wind just dissipates my voice and rage makes the blindness worse ...

  I hate it when strangers look me up and down.   Like  I'm  new in town and they have the right study me in a glance from head to toe like there's something they could possibly know   as if  there's  something anybody knows from an outside glance at the region surrounding the toes    I step on the train    and you eye up my  garms  in non-contestable silent judgement   telling yourself that by hook or by crook  you're  better than me the way that everybody else is better than anybody else  and green eyes are as transparent as their red eyes are opaque Our channels are far too distracted with reality  for this lazy animalism to be compatible with mammal attraction   Judge not lest you be  but you have these condescending expressions' in 'I'm better than you' impressions   when some insignificant stranger   makes itself a momentary feature   by stepping into your psychic spa...
